Regional Bargaining Report # 8

The System Council T-6 as well as CWA District 1 / IBEW Local 2213 Regional and Local Bargaining Teams met with the Company today at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye, NY. The Regional Committee continued discussion on health care and we are still waiting for information and data that we have requested from the Company.
The T-6 Council will continue to bargain with the Company on local issues pertaining to the New England Labor Agreement. Local Bargaining will commence on Tuesday July 5th in Boston and will run for approximately two weeks. The New England Bargaining team will return to Rye N.Y. on July 18th and join with the CWA to continue bargaining regional issues with Verizon.
We need to continue to stand strong and get our message out that we are more committed than we’ve ever been to fight to protect our wages, benefits and working conditions.
