The System Council T-6 is meeting with the Company in Boston to discuss local contract issues. In staying true to form, the company has passed proposals at the local bargaining table that look to diminish and cut all benefits at the local level. Transfers, Overtime, Double time and differentials to name a few.
The T-6 has made it very clear that this will not be one sided. The Council has passed numerous proposals to date, that will increase and solidify contract language. We have multiple information requests for statistics and data that we demand from the Company. These requests are being worked on and studied to allow us to make informed decisions on proposals. Local bargaining will continue through next week in Boston and the Regional tables will reconvene on July 18th in Rye NY.
