Monday July 11, 2011
The System Council T-6 will continue to meet with the Company the remainder of this week to bargain issues at the local level. The Union and Company traded proposals all week and the Council has placed many information requests on statistics and data. Bargaining this week will focus on collecting the information provided by the Company and putting it to use as more proposals are formulated. There have been no changes in the Company’s presentation of proposals. Every proposal passed by the Company has been an attack on language we have bargained in past decades. The Council will continue to look to advance language and benefits as we present our agenda at the table.
Local bargaining will continue the remainder of this week in Boston and the Regional tables will reconvene on July 18th in Rye NY. All Mobilization activities should remain in the very active role. Stay tuned for information on Mobilization activities outside of work !!!!!!!!
