Bargaining Report # 11

The System Council T-6 has been meeting with the Company in Boston for the last two weeks. These meetings were focused on Local Bargaining in all the Bargaining Units. The Union and the Company still remain on opposite ends of the spectrum. The Unions proposals are based on increasing and solidifying contract language and the Company has only proposed diminishments and eliminations. Currently there has been no movement on any issues and unless the Company alters it approach, this trend will remain.
The Company has provided the answers to many data and information requests from the Union. This information is being compiled by the T-6 and will be used in further discussions and proposals from the Union.
The Regional Bargaining Teams from the IBEW and CWA will reconvene on July 18th in Rye NY. All Mobilization activities should remain in the very active role. Mobilization events will be posted on the “We Are One” facebook page, sent out in an email blast or placed on this website. We are only a few weeks away from the expiration of our Contract. Participation should come from every member. Get Involved and join the FIGHT FOR WORKING FAMILIES!!!!!
