Regional Bargaining Report # 44

The IBEW New England and CWA District 1/IBEW Local 2213 Regional Bargaining Committees together with the CWA District 2-13 / IBEWMid-Atlantic Regional Bargaining Committees met with the Company today at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye, NY. Bob Patrician and Louise Novotny from the CWA Research Department in Washington DC joined the Regional Committees at today’s meeting. The company provided additional information to the joint committees regarding their benefit proposals. Our committee as well as our Research experts had many more questions regarding the company’s proposal today.
After the meeting with the company, the two committees met with Bob and Louise to review the data and to begin the process of developing a comprehensive proposal on benefits and another comprehensive proposal on jobs. We will be spending the next week working on these proposals. Our research department and additional consultants will work with both committees when needed to help develop these proposals.
The District 1/IBEW Regional Committee will be meeting in NY at the Rye Town Hilton and the District 2-13/IBEW Regional Committee will be meeting in Philadelphia.
